Focus on Parents
HomeBuilders Sunday School Class - for parents of children of all ages.  This class chooses short term studies (6-12 weeks in length) focusing on various areas of parenting, in the context of weekly Bible study.  It's open to all interested persons, and meets in the basement of our Education Building Sundays at 9:45 am.

Special Focus Seminars
From time to time, the church's Discipleship Committee plans short term studies on parenting skills.  Typically, these are offered on Sunday evenings at 5:30, while children are involved in church activities.

Parent/Child Dedication
The church offers a public service of dedication on Mother's Day, when parents solemnly pledge to raiser their children in the ways of biblical teachings.   Private ceremonies are sometimes offered at other times, by special request.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
The 2005 school will be held June 26-30, 6:30 - 8:30 pm.  It is for children in the church and community, ages 3-12.  The theme and lesson focus will be announced later.   Click HERE for 2004 photos.

PASSPORT-KIDS!
Passport-Kids is a four day camp we attend each year for children who have completed grades 3-6.  During camp, children will meet missionaries, learn about a specific culture, and make useful items to send back to the mission field with the missionaries.   Children will also learn to pray and worship in creative new forms of expression, and enjoy a wide array of recreational opportunities.   The 2005 camp will be held at Eagle Eyrie Baptist Conference Center, June 22-25.  For more information, please contact Associate Pastor, Kent Taylor.

SUMMER PROGRAM
The Children's Summer Ministry Coordinator plans events on a weekly basis throughout the summer for grade school children and their parents, including trips to museums and ball games, a swimming party, a pajama party, and hands-on ministry projects.
Children and Families
SPARK meets one Saturday morning each month for sports clinics, games and a devotional.  The program is a real pleaser for grades 1-6.
